The charming historic chapel creates a "fairytale" experience, with some of the best photo-op's in the Midwest for your intimate gathering.
As you walk through the 8 foot tall, 250 pound exotic cherry Viking door, you will notice it is reminiscent of the Stavekirke churches of Scandinavia and the white churches in North America. No detail was overlooked.
Upon entering, you will see how the antique, gothic-style stained glass windows create a beam of beautiful rainbows on the floor, just as they did in the original congregation 130 years ago!
Even the hardware was imported from Europe and hand forged of a Fjord horse!
Lastly, there is a real working church bell in the tower.
For larger gatherings, the ‘Grand Lawn’ next to the award-winning lush gardens with a pond as a backdrop, might be more your style!

Some of our complimentary photo props include 2 carriages, a wagon, velvet couches, antique buffet hutches for guest books, easels, 12' Viking table, etc.!
In our occasional boutique & gift shop, we carry wedding accessories! Everything from cake toppers and toasting glasses to bridal hair accessories & bridal jewelry!
You can also "Lock Your Love" with your own padlock on our 16' Wisteria tunnel!

Photographer Venue Rental
We do not allow any posed professional photography from the public (excluding weddings), unless the photographer buys a permit from us for $85/ first hour. This is your pass to take as many pictures with your clients as you would like within your time rental. Our props are also included in the price!
