"An elegant and intimate smaller wedding, or a beautiful place of peace, prayer and solace"....
This picturesque country chapel has a story of love and honor behind it. It was built, “On Love-For Love”!
Angels of the Prairie is one of the most unique little chapels in the Midwest!
No detail was overlooked!
The chapel is built "On Love-For Love". "You can't help but get an up-lifting, happy & comforting feeling here". That is God telling you, it will all be ok. One of our favorites...Psalm 91:11.
As a 10th wedding anniversary present to his wife, this chapel has much more meaning than just a celebration of love. It is a place to feel closer to those we've lost that are now in heaven. A place to receive comfort from God. Even a place to share a personal love story.
The chapel was designed by the property owners wife, with a pioneer, country charm of the past. It strongly resembles the white churches from the Midwest prairies. These churches were built over a century ago by Norwegian, Germanic & Celtic settlers. This particular tiny chapel is dedicated to the Norwegian settlers to the Midwest prairies. These beautiful churches are sadly being torn down across America. They were so very important to these immigrants. These white country wooden chapels had tall steeples, letting the tired & hungry settlers know, there was finally a town ahead. They held town meetings, church services, town socials & school children. They are an important part of American history! Angels of the Prairie is a way to honor the settlers and the sacrifices they made for us, as their descendants! They truly loved their pioneer churches.
Add to the history of the Altar, and join the thousands of other couples since 1906 to say, "I Do" in front of it!
The charming little white chapel can also be a perfect backdrop for your smaller outdoor ceremony in the gardens, with white chairs in front of the chapel. This makes STUNNING pictures! There is 6 white antique pews for your use as well! We also have many extras for use, to include an antique buffet table for a guest book, carriages and a Victorian couch for your photos, just to name a few!

There is even a real working antique church bell in the tall steeple where wedding bells can be rang!

The Botanical Memorial Gardens of Angels of the Prairie are thoughtfully designed & maintained by the owners themselves.
The owners Chad & Stacy, are Professional Landscapers & Professional Gardeners. With almost 30 years experience in this field, along with over 25 years of floral design experience, the creativity shines brightly here! They have a love for water features from the several water fountains, angel statuaries and large Japanese koi ponds. You will find many hidden gems on your garden stroll, from the dedication rock to the 70 million year old petrified wood excavated from North Dakota. These gardens have a goal of putting the person at peace, along with promoting creativity. We hold this place at a high reverence, and request each person do as well. "These are very special gardens, each with a meaning & story".
On "Open To The Public Days", people use this area to often pray. For the privacy and respect for others, we kindly ask for no pictures taken unless you have reserved it for a photo session or private event. In cases of venue reservation, you may take as many photos as you wish.
We also kindly ask that children be closely monitored and stay with their guardians. We ask that the animals, such as the koi and turtles not be handled. Each domestic animal here is our personal pet, therefor we want to maintain their safe environment.
This is a non-smoking/vaping property, due to the animal safety.
The gardens and statuaries are a tribute to those loved ones we have lost. Each one having special meaning. To have a little angel placed in the memory of a loved one in the gardens, please click here
